White Label Wednesday

Today I have for you three white label remixes of very different artists. The first is a John Lennon remix that is rumored to have been crafted by none othere than the Basement Jaxx. The second is a funky house remix of one of the best Black Eyed Peas tracks ever, yes before Fergie came along and ruined everything (sorry late BEP fans.) And finally the third is a deep progressive mix of Depeche Mode's "Only When I Lose Myself." Enjoy!

White Label Wednesday

It seems as though you all were diggin' the first edition of White Label Wednesday here on Believed Hype, so it looks like it's here to stay. For this installment of WLW, I've included a funky house few jams from the likes of R.E.M, Ben Harper and yes, Britney Spears. A couple of these are actually quasi-whites, as they were distributed by Hook Up Tunes and Herbal Essence. But I guess as long as they are produced illegally, they fall in that genre. Enjoy!

The Candy Dealers

Jay west and Christian Malloni aka The Candy Dealers are one of those duos that put out loads of goodness, yet get hardly any recognition. It seriously amazes me. Jams this funky deserve far more attention, especially "How Sweet." Anyway, peep them all and enjoy!

Tactic - We've Only Just Begun and Exclusive Remix

I'm pretty dang impressed with the deep, ghetto-progressive bmoreish style of Tactic. The duo out of Kansas City have a small, but growing catalog of jams including the brand new exclusive remix of Gel Abril's "Spells Of Yoruba." Their mix entitled We've Only Just Begun also hit pretty hard. Check them both out below. Enjoy!

Also Good 'ole Norman has been using the video below as a visual backdrop during the track "He Frank." The official vidio is on the way, but I think Iggy alone is good enough. I can't wait to see it live. Enjoy!

The Hours - See The Light (Calvin Harris Remix)

Here's a new remix from everyone’s favorite Scottish producer Calvin Harris. This one's a tiny bit different than what Calvin usually does, with a pitchy keys, atmospheric synths and scratching (well, sort of.) Check it below; you most likely won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!

Tom Middleton - Remember The Love (The IMS Anthem 2008)

Tom Middleton's new single “Remember The Love (The IMS Anthem 2008)” was created and recorded live at the inaugural International Music Summit held in Ibiza in front of 300 delegates. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me. The crazy thing is that it's actually fairly good, but we are talking about Middleton here. The remixes by Presidential Sounds and Soul Avengerz of the track are great as well. Below is the radio edit, so you can get the gist of it. Go to iomusic.co.uk for the rest. Enjoy!

Streetlife Dj's - Don't Bring Me Down (Electric Light Orchestra)

As I said before, I 'm on mission to find all of the Electric Light Orchestra remixes. I'm not sure if you could actually call the Streetlife Dj's "Don't Bring Me Down" a remix, but it's pretty darn close. I just wish they would have used a bit more of the vocals, but it still rules in my book. Enjoy! :)
