White Label Wednesday

It's Wednesday and this week I have some jams for ya! The first of the funky jams is a remix of Tom Browne's "Funkin' In Jamaica" that I highly, highly recommend. The second is a house remix of Nine Inch Nails "Hurt." I know it sounds strange, but it works. And lastly a remix of that bastard Kanye West's "All Falls Down." Enjoy!

N.A.S.A "N.A.S.A. Music" And "Whatchadoin" Remixes
:)

If if haven't heard of N.A.S.A yet, this is your warning. Squeak E. Clean (Brother of legendary director Spike Jonze) and DJ Zegon just released their debut album "The Spirit Of Apollo" which has more guests than the Red Roof Inn. Santogold, Del, Rza, David Bryne, Fatlip, Karen O, Spank Rock, Amanda Blank, Method Man, M.I.A., KRS-One, DJ AM, Chuck D, Z-Trip and Lykke Li are surprisingly just some of the artists appearing on the album. Below I've included a couple remixes from Los Angeles locals Villains ans L.A. Riots. Check them both and the rest of the album. Also there might be some kind of special treat somewhere on this page. Always be on the lookout. Enjoy!

Horace Andy & Ashley Beedle - Angie (From Inspiration Information Vol. 2)

I've always been a big fan of Ashley Beedle's work, whether it's with X Press 2 or one of his solo remixes. For Inspiration Information Vol. 2, Beedle teamed up with reggae artist Horace Andy for a not so inspirational album. The best track by far is their cover of The Rolling Stone's "Angie," while the rest is just mediocre. However, it is refreshing to see Beedle or any artist take a risk on something new. Check out "Angie" and the rest of the album. Enjoy!

The Young Punx! - Juice & Gin (Riva Starr Remix)

The Punx are at it again, this time joining forces with Riva Starr for a fantastically energetic track. "Juice & Gin" is a blend of electro-acid and fidget with monsterous ragga vocals from Yolanda, who gives it that pumping Basement Jaxx "Jump And Shout" kind of vibe. Enjoy!

Royksopp - Happy Up Here w/ Remixes

We're getting closer and closer to the release of Royksopp's new album. The new track "Happy Up Here" is full of promise and if the rest of the album has a similar sound, we're back in business kids. Frankly I'm over waiting for the new album, but this, along with the Boys Noize and Breakbot remixes will have to due for now. Enjoy!

Daft Punk Touring?!

Wow, it actually happening and I'm not kidding. Guess its time to resurrect the old pyramid. The only question is how many stops? Check out the full scoop on www.dafthidden.com

...OK, so I actually am kidding. Very sad, but true. Just an Elaborate hoax, by a web designer trying to get some attention...And thus far, its worked. Pretty damn clever marketing stunt if you ask me.

Ryan Perry - Back To Late Night

I've been wanting to make a mix similar in style to one of the Back To Mine or Another Late Night albums for a good while now and have finally put one together. Some are recent releases, others are from my childhood, but all of them I love and take me back to a special memory in my life; just as music should. I hope you enjoy!

Kylie Minogue - Slow (The Chemical Brothers Remix)

To mark the release of the new Kylie Minogue remix album Boombox, I've decide to post my favorite by none other than The Chemical Brothers (I know, a real shocker.) This progressive jam builds perfectly and is one of the dirtier remixes The Chems have produced in a while. Enjoy!

Brand New Mylo and Basdement Jaxx!

After years of harsh anticipation, Mylo is finally back with a brand new track that is hopefully leading to a new album. The radio rip of the track titled "I'm Back" for now is below. Also the Basement Jaxx are gearing up for a new release. The new track "Shes No Good" thankfully sounds more like the old Jaxx and less like Crazy Itch Radio cuts. It's also below. Enjoy!
